What is Endermologie?

Cellulite results from the build-up of fat in the adipocytes (subcutaneous fat cells) and the retention of water in the surrounding areas (dermis and hypodermis) trapped metabolic fluid.  As the adipocytes continue to grow the envelopes containing them lose their shape and pull on their cutaneous anchoring points, giving skin its ‘orange peel’ appearance.


At this stage the main problem is that the process is self-sustaining as a result of a reduction in blood circulation, causing in turn stagnation of the metabolic waste, nutritional impoverishment and congestion of the connective tissue, which loses its elasticity and become fibrous.

This extremely unsightly condition results in cellulitic areas that are unresponsive to physical exercise and to even the strictest slimming diets.

Over the course of treatments circulation is increased, the body expels water build-up and toxins and the fat trapped in pockets under the skin is freed up.  Increased circulation in the skin’s connective tissue stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the body minimising scar tissue (stretch marks) and over time this assists in your skin becoming firmer and taut, giving you that healthy, glowing look.

Body sculpting is apparent, the appearance of cellulite has decreased and the reduction of fluid retention and bulging is increasingly noticeable revealing a smoother and more evenly toned skin.

What is involved?

An initial one hour consultation with an Endermologist is required, where the treatment process and the benefits of Endermologie® is explained. Any questions are answered and a thorough assessment is carried out,  then you are given a preview treatment. 

If you decide Endermologie is the treatment for you, you are given a 'yours-to-own' LPG Body Suit, which preserves modesty and enables an even, all over treatment to be worn at each treatment.  Photographs and measurements are taken at the onset of a course of treatments to acurately track your progress.  Photographs are again taken halfway through the treatment program (if requested) and again at the completion of 20 treatments to monitor the changes in appearance. Endermologie® sessions are allocated 1 hour, treatments are 35 - 45 minutes.

A general treatment program is as follows:

       3 x treatment per week for first and second week
       2 x treatment per week for third/fourth/fifth and sixth week
       1 x treatment per week for third month
       1 x treatment per fortnight fourth month
       1 x treatment per month (ongoing)*                        

One Endermologie® treatment per month is recommended to keep up the improvements made to your body and will continue to make notiable changes in the long term.

Endermologie® is dependant upon a high level of commitment from the client, recommendation to the client is:

What does it feel like?

The treatment is gentle massage, suctioning and rolling of skin and layers beneath. Feels like a vacuum cleaner massaging and relaxing your body enough to fall asleep during the treatment. The treatment is the equivalent of 4-5 manual massages.

Does it help with weight loss?  

Yes.  Endermologie repairs the connective tissue and blood and lymph circulation increases, stimulating the body to expel toxins and built up fluid retention resulting some weight loss and you looking and feeling slimmer.  A sensible eating plan is recommended combined with exercise and daily water intake for maximum results to achieve a slimmer, more contoured body. 

Can it replace a diet?    

No.  A sensible eating plan, moderate exercise, intake of 3 litres of water daily and Endermologie treatments  will result in a slimmer, more contoured body and a smoother, firmer skin.  Whilst a sensible diet can help you maintain a healthy weight, all four components will produce a restoration in the skin's natural functions and feeling of well-being.

Is it more effective than exercise?   

Exercise is obviously very beneficial, but it can't fight cellulite.  You need to combine exercise, a sensible eating plan and a daily intake of 3 litres of water with a course of Endermologie treatments to achieve maximu results.

Who are the best candidates for cellulite treatments?

The best candidates are:

• less than 15 kgs overweight
• are in generally good health
• have realistic expectations
• are motivated to exercise & diet
• will drink 2-3 litres of water per day

Are there any side affects?

You may experience tiredness after a treatment due to metabolism being stirred up during a treatment and it is re-hydration is required after and between treatments through regular water intake. Clients go through a thorough assessment before treatment and doctor approval may be required before starting in some circumstances.

Is it safe?

Yes, the LPG machine, which delivers the non-invasive Endermologie® treatment, is endorsed by the FDA [Federal Drug Administration] of America, the US watch dog gauging the safety of drugs and treatment for combating cellulite.

Can I have Endermologie after liposuction or other surgeries?

After any kind of surgery, it is essential your body go through an initial healing process before commencing with Endermologie® treatments.  It is advisable to wait 3 - 4 months after surgery before signing up for Endermologie®.  Endermologie® does assist in the healing process, and does speed up recovery - however, we advise clients to consult their surgeons before beginning with Endermologie® treatments.

Can Endermologie replace liposuction?   

Liposuction techniques are designed to help with body shape and volume, but this can't solve problems of cellulite and skin appearance.  Consequently, Endermologie is an excellent complement to plastic surgery.

Where did it come from?

The Endermologie® machine, developed in France over a decade ago to reduce scarring and treat burn areas by Loui Paul Guittay. LPG has been in use for over fifteen years; sessions can be counted in ther millions and with every day that passes tens of thousands of women feel the benefits.

Cancellation Policy

We value your business, and wish you to achieve your personal goals with Endermologie.  This is dependant upon following the prescribed treatment plan in partnership with us.  The clinic appointment schedule is extremely busy and we are having to book clients for their program of treatments well in advance.  Short notice cancellations or non-attendance means someone else might be missing the opportunity for their treatment.

Our policy is to charge clients for appointments, regardless of attendance, unless cancellation and/or postponement is advised not less than 24 hours priors to treatment.  In the odd instance re-scheduling is acceptable, as we understand emergencies arise.

Our policy is - 24 hours notice cancellation must be given to avoid being charged 50% of the treatment cost and if I do not keep my appointment with out notification to you I will be changed the full cost of the treatment.

If you cancel this program before the agreed course is completed you will be charged full price of $150 for each treatment redeemed at the time of cancellation.

You  will not  be refunded on treatments not redeemed should you choose to cancel a course of treatments.

You have the option of putting the remaining course on hold for a limited period of six months and you can redeem the treatments still outstanding at that time or you are can redeem other beauty treatments to the value remaining.
